Rod founded DO2 Technologies in early 2000, and is responsible for the strategic direction and operations of the company. Rod has more than 30 years experience in oil and gas, with almost 20 years of his career focused on developing and delivering software solutions for the petroleum industry. Rod spent more than 10 years working in drilling and operations engineering in the upstream side of the business. Rod founded Munro Garrett Inc, a leading provider of drilling, production and reservoir engineering software to the global energy industry. Munro Garret was acquired by Landmark Graphics Corporation (now part of the Halliburton Energy Group) in 1994, when Rod founded Argus Technologies. At Argus, Rod led the company in development of the Internet’s first web-enabled mapping software, which he later sold to Autodesk Inc. Prior to DO2 Technologies, he also spent three years in the venture capital industry focusing on technology investments for the global energy industry.
Deborah brings to DO2 Technologies more than 30 years experience in the energy and information technology industries. She is responsible for the company’s global sales, marketing, consulting and support activities. She began her career working for several large Canadian exploration and production companies, holding various positions in operations, reservoir engineering and supply and marketing. For the last 15 years, Deborah has focused on information technology for the petroleum industry, and has held a number of senior roles within energy industry software companies. For the 12 years prior to joining Digital, Deborah held various regional vice president positions at Landmark Graphics.
Doug graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Petroleum Engineering from the Montana College of Mineral Science and Technology. Doug is responsible for all activities related to product development, information technology, architecture and infrastructure, including Digital’s hosting facilities. Doug has more than 25 years of experience in exploration and production operations and technology. He began his career with a major, international oilfield service company. For the 14 years preceding joining Digital, Doug held various senior roles within Landmark Graphics Corporation’s product development team. Prior to Landmark, Doug was with Munro Garrett, where he held various roles in sales, operations, and development.
Mike brings to DO2 Technologies over 18 years of business experience in operations and finance. He is responsible for developing new business markets for DO2 Technologies solutions and services. Before joining DO2 Technologies Mike was the Regional Vice President North America at Quadrem, a global mining, minerals, and metals B2B marketplace. As their first employee in the North American Region, Mike built the team that created Quadrem's North American sales, marketing and service delivery infrastructure. Mike's background includes over 18 years working in senior management positions in a number of organizations focused on business and electronic commerce in the Mining, Natural Resource, Manufacturing, Energy and Utilities industries in North America and Internationally.
Angie is a graduate of the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Science and has more than 20 years of experience in the energy and information technology industries. Angie started her career with a geological services firm, delivering equity determination studies to several large Canadian energy companies. Prior to joining Digital, Angie spent 13 years at Landmark Graphics, where she worked in a number of senior sales, consulting and management roles. In 2002, Angie joined DO2 Technologies as Director of Business Development, where she was the top producing sales person for the company.
Shari is responsible for the company’s finance, human resources and administrative functions. She graduated with distinction from the University of Lethbridge with a Bachelors Degree in Management and obtained her Chartered Accountant designation in 1996. She brings more than 12 years experience in the energy and information technology industries. She began her career with KPMG LLP in Calgary, and then went on to Peak Energy Services, where she served as Corporate Controller. Prior to joining Digital, she was Vice President Finance for a digital imaging software company. Through her roles, Shari gained extensive experience in finance, taxation, administration and human resources.
Lynn brings more that 20 years of commercial software development and information technology experience to the company. Lynn is a proven leader with deep experience in planning, design and deployment of commercial software applications. Lynn joined DO2 Technologies soon after inception and has played a central role in the company's success. Lynn is responsible for all aspects of the company’s software architecture, B2B integration strategies and critical infrastructure components related to our hosted environment and development infrastructure. Prior to joining DO2 Technologies, Lynn held senior development positions in Halliburton Energy Services.
Dann brings over 20 years experience in upstream and midstream operations and information technology experience to DO2 Technologies. Dann is responsible for product strategy and design for Digital’s new products. Dann holds a Degree in Geology from the University of Calgary and a Diploma in Petroleum Engineering Technology from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology and began his career working for drilling and completions, well testing, and pipeline contractors, as well as operating production facilities for a number of independent producers. For the 10 years preceding DO2 Technologies, Dann held senior management roles within Landmark Graphics including managing the drilling and well services data management products group.
