DO2 Technologies announced today that SAP has certified the content and portal integration of its SupplierConnect version 30.1 solution. The content was successfully integrated with the SAP NetWeaver® Exchange Infrastructure (SAP NetWeaver XI) Release 3.0 and provides data exchange between the SAP® R/3® Enterprise Release 4.7 solution and OpenInvoice SupplierConnect version 1.2. DO2's solution also passed the interface certification based on the SAP integration scenario for the SAP NetWeaver Portal Business Package 6.0, which awarded the solution the endorsement "Powered by SAP NetWeaver," in addition to "Certified for SAP NetWeaver" status.
SupplierConnect allows oil and gas operating companies to undertake business seamlessly with their supply chain, supporting the generation, routing, adjudication and approval of invoices, field tickets, goods receipts and other supporting documents.
DO2's SupplierConnect provides a hosted application that allows suppliers to create and transmit field tickets, invoices and supporting documentation to operating companies. The SupplierConnect solution, which has achieved "Powered by SAP NetWeaver®" integration, provides for the routing of invoice documents from the DO2 Technologies supplier application directly into the oil and gas company's financial system based on SAP solutions. The operating company can then invoke the appropriate workflow within the SAP solution (an invoice approval workflow, for example) depending on the nature and content of the document.

Through SupplierConnect, users of SAP solutions can seamlessly transact with DO2's supplier network -- the largest supplier group in the energy industry, consisting of more than 4,000 suppliers. DO2's customers now have the option of using the approval workflows within SAP solutions, if desired. This means that users will experience virtually no disruption or change to their normal workflow processes. Moreover, they will be receiving invoices electronically directly from their suppliers through SupplierConnect, eliminating the need to manually enter invoices, while providing line-item detail, all without any additional work. With the delivery of line-item detail, users will now have access to a higher level of detail for performing further supplier and spend analysis.
