DO2 Technologies Inc., a software solutions company that optimizes financial and operational processes between energy companies and their suppliers, announced the introduction of OpenInvoice AutoApprove to automatically approve specific invoices that meet defined criteria.
An optional module to DO2's flagship electronic invoicing solution, OpenInvoice, AutoApprove allows the operating company to set parameters that will drive the automatic approval of selected invoices. With AutoApprove, the system is configured to automatically approve invoices in several ways: for example, with a dollar value below a certain threshold, or when field ticket and invoice line-items match exactly, or when all invoices from a particular vendor fall below a certain dollar threshold, or the invoice matches the applied contract pricing.
"The over-riding objective of AutoApprove is to eliminate the manual invoice approval process altogether - so that high value domain professionals don't spend time checking and reconciling invoices to determine what the correct pricing should be, or whether or not a field representative approved the scope and quantities of goods and services in the transaction," said Rod Munro, President, DO2 Technologies.
