DO2 Technologies Inc., a software solutions company that optimizes financial and operational processes between energy companies and their suppliers today announced the release of Version 5.3 of its OpenInvoice™ and OpenContract solutions. These Internet-based solutions automate and improve invoicing and field ticket reconciliation and contract management processes.
DO2's solutions are being used extensively by leading operating companies throughout North America. The enhancements in version 5.3 are a result of extensive feedback from DO2's current customer base as well as industry requirements. The new features benefit operations, accounts payable and procurement professionals who utilize OpenInvoice and OpenContract as an integral part of their daily business.
Among the new features is support for line item splitting for coding purposes in the OpenInvoice Image module, so thatscanned invoice images can easily and quickly be coded to multiple business objects.
Also included in the enhancements is the ability to create coding templates, saving coding combinations for line items that have been "split coded". For instance, if individual lines have been allocated to twenty different costs centers, that split can be saved and those cost centers instantly re-allocated to newly received invoices.
The DO2 Technologies solution triggers a number of automatic notifications of significant issues to individual users through email. Now, daily notifications are combined into a single email notification.
Another key feature of the new release is supplier visibility to contract terms. Suppliers are able to see upon invoice generation whether or not the invoice pricing adheres to contracted terms. This information is provided for each line item, for those invoices that reference a contract.
