One of the biggest problems in processing invoices today is that the charges that are accrued every day at the rig site or remote location are still tracked mostly on paper. This process is characterized by a significant lag from the time the work is performed until the time that the invoice is reviewed and approved. Highly paid operations personnel must review multiple tour sheets and field /delivery tickets to complete the invoice reconciliation process. The result: much time spent doing paperwork and long payment cycles for suppliers.
Daily Charge Recorder™ (DCR) is a system for use at the rig or remote location. It allows both the operator and supplier to quickly and easily agree and resolve charges at the wellsite every day. And it's all available through an easy to use touchscreen (like an ATM), so that your field users can easily manage their charges with very little training and minimal data entry.
DCR creates a single electronic document at the end of the well that summarizes all of the daily charges. And since our DCR and OpenInvoice products are integrated, the daily charges from the field are automatically compared to the electronic invoice, flagging any discrepancies for you. The result is fewer disputed invoices, less paperwork for drilling engineers and field foremen, and more accurate, timely payments for suppliers.
